Shannon Allen

Shannon provides legal counsel and support throughout all aspects of her representation, including crisis management. She works closely with both her business and individual clients to develop appropriate strategies to address their specific concerns. Shannon believes that taking the time to get to know her client, at the beginning of the relationship, is paramount in working together towards achieving the client’s goals. Her practice focuses on business litigation, employment counseling and employment litigation, and trust administration. She is an experienced civil litigator, who counsels and guides her clients through the pitfalls of the litigation process. This includes pre-litigation strategy, motion practice, discovery, mediation and trial.
Steve DiTullio

Businesses face an array of federal and state employment laws and regulations that they must comply with in the workplace. Unfortunately, it is a fact of business life that some current employees or former employees will commence employment litigation. Whether it is providing proactive advice on employment law compliance issues or defending businesses in litigation, Steve has successfully worked with businesses throughout the country to help guide them through the many legal issues that arise in the workplace. Clients enjoy the high level of responsiveness and competence that Steve brings to their businesses. He prides himself on the proactive compliance advice which often helps to avoid employment claims and assists clients in providing successful defenses for businesses in litigation.

Van is an associate in DeWitt’s Litigation practice group. His practice includes solving disputes through formal and informal dispute resolution. He focuses on quality research and writing to provide clients with concise, practical advice, and decision-makers with clear, focused presentations of the client’s position. His prior legal experience includes working in summer associate positions with DeWitt LLP, and the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. While in law school, he was a member of the Marquette Sports Law Review and an Academic Success Program leader for first year students.
Laura Davis

Laura is an associate in DeWitt’s Litigation, Labor & Employment Relations, Background Screening and Intellectual Property practice groups. Laura is committed to producing timely, high quality legal work in an efficient and effective manner. She values building relationships with clients to guide them through their complex legal needs. Laura has experience litigating in federal and state court to enforce and defend clients’ legal interests. Laura assists clients in resolving labor & employment disputes, defending and protecting intellectual property rights, and disputing and enforcing contractual rights. When clients are faced with a conflict or lawsuit, she helps provide advice and strategic analysis to resolve disputes in a cost effective manner. She has helped obtain successful resolution of disputes through pretrial motions, negotiation, mediation, preliminary injunctions, and trial.
Deborah Meiners

Deborah has been a commercial litigator for more than a dozen years, with particular expertise in insurance coverage matters on behalf of policyholders. Individuals and companies call on her to assist when they are involved in disputes with their insurance carriers. Deborah has established coverage in the transportation, technology, manufacturing, construction, staffing, and agriculture sectors. She has handled issues involving myriad types of policies, including commercial general liability, commercial crime coverage, automobile liability, motor carrier coverage, property insurance, event cancellation insurance, business protection coverage, homeowners insurance, umbrella liability coverage, and title insurance. In addition to insurance coverage, Deborah regularly handles complex commercial disputes, employment relations matters, and litigation concerning real estate, construction, transportation, and title insurance.
