Pathfinder Indian Ocean Security Conference (PFIOSC)-Phase II

Having identified the importance of the Bay of Bengal and the Indian Ocean Region (IOR) in contemporary geopolitics, the Pathfinder Foundation organized several important regional and international forums since 2017. Pursuant to the successful conclusion of the Pathfinder Indian Ocean Security Confderence-2020 (Phase I) the Foundation aims to ensure continuity of this discourse by convening Phase II of the Pathfinder Indian Ocean Security Conference on March 4, 2022. The thematic areas of focus of the Conference will be (i) a new security architecture for the Indian Ocean, (ii) Maritime Domain Awareness, supplementing what is already operational and (iii) Confidence Building Measures.
The Conference is convened with the aim of creating increased awareness and firmly establishing this forum as a track 1.5 event.
