She has 18 years of direct customer support experience, as well as 6 years working in library administration. Through her various roles, Emily has a deep understanding of human resources in libraries. Her commitment to inclusion and teambuilding has deeply influenced her management style.

Ashwaubenon and Southwest Branch Manager @Brown County Library
Karla Giraldez is the Branch Manager of the Brown County Library Ashwaubenon and Southwest locations. With a background in education, she started as a Youth Librarian 21 years ago, the last eleven of which has been in management. Karla was inspired by a presentation on building positive workplace cultures at PLA several years ago and has continued to apply the principals in her own work. She is passionate about healthy communication and teambuilding.
