Andrew Koeser, PhD is an Associate Professor of Tree and Landscape Management at the University of Florida Gulf Coast Research and Education Center. He is an expert in tree risk assessment, below ground tree biomechanics, and urban tree growth modelling, as well as, the author of two popular tree identification guides. Currently his lab is conducting Florida’s first statewide urban forest canopy assessment. Andrew is the proud father of four amazing daughters and companion to an okay basset hound.
