NEC SSS Professional Development Seminar

NOSOTROS Education Center (NEC) will conduct an ONLINE Student Support Services (SSS) Professional Development Seminar for two (2) days on January 12 & 13, 2023 (9 am to 4 pm - ALL TIMES CENTRAL ).

This ONLINE seminar will consist of eight (8) workshops for a total of ten (10) hours addressing the following SSS topics:

1.) History of TRIO & "Umbrella" Legislation
2.) SSS Program Regulations
3.) Objectives & Plan to Deliver Services
4.) Identification, Recruitment, & Selection
5.) Budget Management & Uniform Guidance Overview
6.) Recordkeeping Requirements & Compliance Assessment Readiness
7.) Formative & Summative Evaluations
8.) Annual Performance Report & Prior Experience Points

Please note that this is a professional development seminar and an allowable cost - §646.30: What are allowable costs? The cost principles that apply to the Student Support Services Program are in 2 CFR part 200, subpart E. Allowable costs include the following if they are reasonably related to the objectives of the project:... (c) In-service training of project staff.
