Dr Greg Collier
Dr Collier has more than 20 years’ experience spanning operational, clinical and scientific aspects of pharmaceutical research, development and commercialisation. He has executed multiple commercial transactions and has successfully taken a drug from discovery through to regulatory approval. Dr Collier steered ChemGenex Pharmaceuticals from a research-based company with a market capitalisation of $10M to a company that completed clinical trials and submitted regulatory dossiers to the FDA and EMA. In 2011 ChemGenex was sold to Cephalon for $230M. During Dr Collier’s distinguished academic career, before entering the commercial world, he published over 150 peer reviewed articles, as well as having senior authorship on 33 patents. Dr Collier was the inaugural Alfred Deakin Professor at Deakin University and also held positions at the University of Melbourne, Monash University and the University of Toronto.
Dr Paul Gavin
Chief Executive Officer
Since joining Phosphagenics in 2002, he has developed multiple opportunities for the Company such as transdermal drug delivery systems and drug enhancement platforms for chronic pain management. Dr Gavin is an inventor of the TPM® platform technology for transdermal delivery, and has managed its evolution from discovery to clinical development, with a range of products. Dr Gavin holds a BSc (Honours) and PhD in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology from Monash University, Melbourne. He is experienced in many aspects of R&D and has published a number of articles in peer reviewed journals.
Ms Melanie Leydin
Company Secretary
Melanie has 25 years experience in the accounting profession and 15 years experience in Company Secretarial services. She is a Chartered Accountant and a Registered Company Auditor. Ms Melanie Leydin graduated from the Swinburne University in 1997 (B.Bus(Acc)(Corp law)) and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1999. She established Leydin Freyer, a leading outsourced accounting and company secretarial services firm, in February 2000.
