The new work-from-home culture has shifted employees’ needs to evaluate more practical benefits like retirement savings plans. Competing against well-funded companies with extensive compensation benefits can make it challenging for non-profit organizations to attract and retain skilled staff.
Maytree has been working with a coalition of philanthropic funders, sector leaders, and the mission-driven business Common Wealth Retirement to create the Common Good Plan, a nationally portable workplace savings and retirement program for workers in our sector. After three years of sector consultation, feasibility study, and design and implementation work, the Common Good Plan was recently rolled out to an initial group of non-profits from across Canada.
Join us to learn how non-profit organizations can offer an easy-to-use, low-cost retirement plan to their workforce for happier, healthier, and more productive employees.
