Hi there, You are invited to a Zoom webinar. When: Jan 23, 2021 04:00 PM Belgrade, Bratislava, Ljubljana Topic: Trace Labs Monthly Office Hours #8 Register in advance for this webinar: https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_9HFXacESSfWx2yHnb1I8og After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar. ---------- Webinar Speakers Branimir Rakić (Co-founder & CTO @OriginTrail & Trace Labs) Branimir is a seasoned systems engineer, architecting and bringing solutions to production in large scale 2G, 3G, LTE, IoT and decentralized networks, with focus on linked data, standards and systems interoperability. As the cofounder and CTO of Trace Labs, he has been building OriginTrail systems from 2011, culminating in the creation of the open source OriginTrail protocol for trusted data exchange and launch of the OriginTrail Decentralized Network. Together with the Trace Labs team he has led the OriginTrail technology deployment efforts of various supply chain use cases in a range of industries and systems spanning from Oracle, Microsoft and SAP solutions to mobile and cloud applications. As a strong believer in permissionless innovation and peer to peer systems, Branimir has been mentored by Bob Metcalfe (famous for the "Metcalfe's law" of network effects) after which OriginTrail has received the Food+City People's Choice Award in Austin, Texas in 2017. Tomaž Levak (Co-founder & Managing Director @OriginTrail & Trace Labs) Tomaz’s entrepreneurial curiosity was encouraged from an early age, keeping him constantly engaged in projects outside the education process. After managing multiple projects in the Middle East towards the end of his studies, he co-founded Trace Labs with the ambition to utilise novel technologies to address challenges in the food industry, leading to the creation of OriginTrail. Together with the team, over the years Tomaz helped make OriginTrail technologies more robust and expanded its applicability beyond just food - to all supply chains. In his daily work, Tomaz focuses on strategy, hands-on business development and forming partnerships across Europe, the US and Asia (e.g. BSI, GS1, Oracle). He is a frequent speaker on international events on the topics of end-to-end supply chain visibility and enterprise adoption of decentralised, blockchain-based, technologies. Žiga Drev (Co-founder & Manging Director @OriginTrail & Trace Labs) Born and raised in the countryside made him acknowledge the benefits of local origin. He co-founded Trace Labs while finishing his MBA in Ljubljana and soon recognized the importance of GS1 standards for business data exchange and introduced them to OriginTrail’s service. He managed the OriginTrail pilot projects in China, and helped design a blockchain based food traceability blueprint in 2017 which got OriginTrail to become an inaugural member of the Walmart Food Innovation Pipeline as well as the first winner of the Spark Award. He is often the ‘face’ of the company at global events, contributing his hands on experience from supply chain projects OriginTrail team has been involved in within Asia, Europe, Australia and North America. His goal is to help unlock new value in fragmented supply chains. Ziga loves being in nature and enjoying quality, origin traced food.
