Deepwells Farm in St. James has a long and fascinating history which dates back to 1845. It was originally built for Joel L.G. Smith who was a descendant of Richard “Bull” Smith, the founder of Smithtown. In the early 1900’s it became the summer residence of William J. Gaynor, Mayor of New York City. The estate had several owners after Mayor Gaynor, but by 1975 it was left abandoned and in severe disrepair. Author Kerriann Flanagan Brosky and medium/paranormal investigator Joe Giaquinto will discuss the amazing journey of what is now the gem of St. James. They will share their investigative findings, as well as tell listeners the chilling ghost story which was told to them by a credible eye witness many years ago.
