Kay Weber
Program Director and Co-leader of Irish SIG @St. Louis Genealogical Society
Kay Weber has been an active member in StLGS since 1997 and has assisted many genealogists as a research helper in the office Reference Room and during our numerous “Ask a Genealogist” events. Kay is the co-leader of the Irish Special Interest Group. She has served the society as vice president of both membership and programs and for the past four years, she was the society president. Kay has been researching her family for more than thirty years and still manages to find new facts!
Carol Hemmersmeier
Co-leader of Irish SIG @St. Louis Genealoogical Society
Carol Hemmersmeier is a St. Louis Genealogical Society board member, co-leader of the StLGS Irish SIG, and currently heads the StLGS Ask Louie program. Her volunteer work with StLGS started after she retired from her position as a Special Education educator and principal in 2005. She is a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and the keeper of all her family’s genealogy and family lore. She believes that patience, persistence, and a consistent approach provide success whether you are teaching or researching.
