COVID-19 is likely the most challenging situation ever faced by employers in modern society. COVID-19 remains rampant in the United States, and for employers this means taking on the overwhelming responsibility of ensuring that the workplace is safe for all employees to come to work at every day and not be afraid of being exposed to this potentially deadly disease. For those in the Industrial Hemp sphere – many of whom have only been employers since 2018 – the challenge poses an existential threat to continuing to do business.
