The Covenant of Companies is a newly launched European Commission (DG ENER) pilot initiative to encourage and support companies to step up their contribution to a clean energy transition, energy savings and related climate objectives as set out in the European Green Deal.
The CCCE launched its first call for Technical Assistance on 15 June 2022, for Croatia, Finland, Italy, the Netherlands and Poland. In these focus countries the call is open to SMEs (as per the EU definition); groups of companies (co-located in the same area); authorities (national, regional or local); and enablers (e.g., associations and networks, energy service companies, etc.). Successful applicants will receive direct and tailored support from the CCCE on their energy and climate transition from September 2022 to January 2023. The direct support can include technical, financing, legal, regulatory, and other aspects. Indirect support (workshops, webinars, etc.) will also be foreseen for unsuccessful applicants and intermediaries (networks / associations) in those countries.
Join us in this webinar and hear from the European Commission, the CCCE Secretariat, including SMEunited, as well as the Covenant of Mayors and the Smart Cities Marketplace how you can promote this call for technical assistance among the potential beneficiaries and help them in the application process.
