ISC Lab: Innovation at Lloyd's

Lloyd's is a cornerstone of the London Insurance Market, but what is it doing to move with the times and ensure that it remains at the heart of the market?

Ed Gaze, Senior Manager of Lloyd's Lab, Trevor Maynard, Head of Innovation at Lloyd's, and Rosie Denee, Innovation and Thought Leadership Manager at Lloyd's and ISC Group Aspire Committee member, will be sharing how Lloyd's is innovating, whether that be internally or via the Lloyd's Lab, as well as showcasing the opportunities to get involved with innovation at Lloyd's.

Dr Trevor Maynard is head of Innovation at Lloyd’s. He is responsible for stimulating a culture of Innovation in the Lloyd’s market. Trevor’s team launched the Lloyd's Lab in 2018, the technology incubator at the heart of the Lloyd’s market. The lab has helped many Insurtechs grow to commercial success over the past two years. The Innovation team is also responsible for product development related thought leadership and works closely with the Product Innovation Facility a collection of 25 Managing agents at Lloyd’s committed to collaborative product development to meet the changing needs of our global customers.

The 'ISC Lab' Broadcasts are a series which focus on tech and innovation within the insurance industry. We will explore a variety of topics from industry opinion, to the importance of upskilling and reskilling for new roles as well as shining a light on the exciting start-ups operating in the industry.
