Steve Elzinga is an attorney at Sherman Sherman Johnnie & Hoyt. He is a fourth-generation Oregonian who assists clients in civil litigation and appeals, land use, property development, and general business matters. He enjoys identifying creative solutions for those impacted by government regulation and has a boutique election law practice. While working at the highest levels of Oregon government, Steve managed a state agency legal portfolio, crafted an award-winning administrative rule protecting the voting rights of over 60,000 Oregonians, and helped negotiate a multi-billion-dollar bipartisan “grand bargain” in the Oregon Legislature. Steve enjoys strategy board games, hiking, and spending time with his wife Sonja, two kids, and their friends and family.
