Greening FIDIC's rainbow contract suite – let’s do it!

The construction industry has a huge impact on the sustainability agenda. Its transformation from a big polluter and resource consumer towards a sustainability enabler is happening, but rather slowly.  Focusing on sustainability for more than 100 years, FIDIC has recently issued its Climate Change Charter to encourage engineers to take the lead to plan, design and develop projects in line with the UN sustainable development goals.  At this webinar, the FIDIC Contracts Committee will suggest how to integrate net zero clauses and embed sustainable performance criteria for the project lifecycle in the FIDIC rainbow contract suites for works and services. The result will not only be improved profitability and productivity, but also an improved planet. We need to broaden the road to recovery – recovery of me, recovery of us and the recovery of the planet.
