The success of agile involves not only a different way of doing work, but also a different perspective of all aspects of the organization. Not only does the product development team have to change, business partners, supplies, operations, and other key stakeholders also need to change their way of looking at work. In order to accommodate that multiple dimensions of work, the Disciplined Agile content is organized into four architectural views: Mindset, People, Practices, and Flow. This session will focus on the Flow view including a look at the principles and guidelines of DA.
One of the principles behind Disciplined Agile (DA) is Optimize Flow. Every enterprise represents a complex adaptive system (CAS) with work that moves dynamically from team to team. The “Flow” Architectural aspect of Disciplined Agile address this relationship and how to navigate work via the value streams. The presentation will explore the DA toolkit and eight strategies on understand flow for delivering value.
