Mindfulness for Self-Care
Mindfulness is the ability to stay in the present moment without judgement, a skill that can be cultivated and can result in improvements in stress, anxiety and overall well-being. In this presentation, participants will learn about the human stress response, research findings supporting mindfulness meditation for stress and anxiety, and the foundations of mindfulness practice. The session will include a presentation, a guided practice and tools to bring mindfulness techniques to daily life.
