How do we improve quality of life for autistic people through stress management?
In the autism field there has been immense development over the last decade in how we view autism, people with autism, and their needs for support. We understand now that things like sensory overload play a major role in the day of autistic people. Overload and stress are commonplace and may have some connection to come of the common co-morbidities such as anxiety and depression.
This session will dive into some of the possible connections between autism and stress, and present an insider’s perspective on why stress management must take a different approach when autism is a factor.
