Internet Safety Training for Students
This training equips middle and high school aged youth to recognize signs of online sexual exploitation and Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking (DMST), and to be aware of the dangers of participating in risky behaviors that could lead to them being targeted or lured into exploitation. This training includes information on chatrooms, sexting, permanence of what is placed on the internet, information about how predators groom victims, what DMST is and how it begins.

Samantha Hicks
Prevention Educator @Street Hope TN
Samantha is a Knoxville native and graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Business Management. While in college, God gave her a passion for working with youth, and she spent many years volunteering with YOKE Youth Ministries and has served as a Youth Leader for several years. Samantha is the Prevention Educator at Street Hope TN where she raises awareness about the realities of sex trafficking in East Tennessee. She focuses on equipping students and adults with tools to help them navigate the internet more safely, and in turn, reduce the number of victims of online sexual exploitation and sex trafficking.
