In the 1970s, she met Ben Charles Harris, author and authority on the subject who became her mentor. He encouraged her to lecture/lead walks all around New England which she’s done for many years. She’s written/illustrated 3 books on wild plants (that include recipes), produced 3 hour-long films, has over 75 videos posted on YouTube and writes articles for the Greenfield (MA) Recorder’s quarterly Special Section Healthy Life.
