Focus on AAV Gene Therapy

Our next three lectures will focus on the exciting and promising world of AAV gene therapies. The first AAV lecture will orient the audience with the natural history of AAV and emphasize the modifications that have allowed this virus to function as a therapeutic tool. We will then focus on the cell binding and transduction processes, which allow AAV to deliver genetic payloads to specific, target cells.
