About The speakers:

Aparna is a Director of R&D at VMware. She currently leads VMware’s Kubernetes Platform, where she was founding member of the team. She has 15+ years of broad experience in building and scaling multi-disciplinary teams, and has successfully launched services across datacenter/cloud automation, and natural language processing/machine learning platforms She is passionate about creating and developing inclusive teams where people feel they belong. Aparna holds a master’s degree in Computer Science from Boston University, and a bachelor’s in Engineering from Anna, University, India.

Nikitha is a product manager at VMware based in San Francisco. She works on all things virtual machines, containers, and Kubernetes. Prior to VMware, Nikitha was a software engineer and product manager at various SaaS startups. She got her bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the Manipal Institute of Technology (India) and an MBA from UCLA Anderson.
