"How To Live When Things Fall Apart" will be the topic of the Rev. Anthony Robinson's webinar lecture on October 10. The Rev. Robinson will speak from about 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., take a short break to compile questions from viewers, and then we will host a Q and A session until noon. CEU's are available.
This is the inaugural lecture in the Rev. Dr. Samuel Sawitski Lecture Series established by Desert Garden UCC in recognition of his passion for teaching. Pastor Sam served the church for a decade prior to his death in July 2019.
Originally plans were made to hold the lecture in the sanctuary; however the pandemic circumstances make that impossible.
The Rev. Robinson is a widely known theologian, author and speaker.
His best-selling books include: "Transforming Congregational Culture" and "What’s Theology Got to Do With: Convictions, Vitality and the Church". He has served as visiting faculty or lecturer at a number of institutions including Seattle University, Princeton Seminary, Brite Divinity School, and Pacific School of Religion.
Following our anniversary motto "40 years—2020 Vision", the church offers this free webinar to the congregation and an immeasurably wider community. Donations are welcome for future lectures. For more information go to our website: www.desertgardenchurch.org
Two Clergy Continuing Education Credits (CEU's) are available.
