COVID-19 has impacted us all and shed light on the importance of mental health and wellness. Taking care of yourself is a central part of taking care of others. Take a first step by signing up for this session on workplace wellness, the first in a series of wellness related education from the ADA. This digital event is free and everyone is welcome.
Brought to you by NAMI Chicago, this webinar is the first in a series of educational programming on mental health and wellness provided in part by a generous grant from Crest + Oral-B. In this 1 hour workshop, participants will learn about NAMI Chicago's resources, dive deep into the definition of wellness, learn how to recognize when a colleague is struggling, and identify ways to be supportive. The digital event will address specific aspects of the dental practice and workplace that provide challenges and opportunities for wellness and NAMI Chicago will provide wellness techniques and strategies that dentists and their teams can implement to build resilience and improve workplace wellness. To round out the session, participants will create their own "Wellness Plan" in order to better manage stress and engage in self-care. The mission of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Chicago is to improve the lives of those affected by mental health conditions.
