Webinar Speakers

Dr. Harmin Chima 
Dr. Harmin Chima practices in Cleveland, OH at a Pearle Vision franchise comprised of 60 locations nationwide. In addition to seeing patients, Dr. Chima serves on an Optometric Advisory Board for the franchise responsible for determining the clinical direction the company will go in. He is very passionate about advocating for the profession of optometry, as he currently serves on the Cleveland Optometric Association Board, was the past chair of the Ohio Optometric Association&#39;s Young OD Committee, and is a Key OD for legislative issues in Northeast Ohio. Dr. Chima also works as a consultant for Optometric Insights, a career coaching company for optometry students dedicated to accelerating success. In his spare time, Dr. Chima enjoys playing tennis and guitar.

Dr. Roxanne Achong-Coan 
Dr. Roxanne Achong-Coan is a graduate of the New England College of Optometry.  She completed a residency in contact lenses at Pacific University College of Optometry where she is currently an assistant clinical adjunct professor.  Dr. Achong-Coan has been in private practice with her husband and a third associate for 21 years in the Orlando area.  She specializes in contact lenses including gas permeables, hybrids, orthokeratology, myopia control, scleral lenses, and dry eye therapy.  She is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, fellow of the International Academy of Orthokeratology and Myopia Control, and fellow of the Scleral Lens Society.
