Panel Discussion Problem Gambling Recovery

This panel will explore aspects of gambling addiction and recovery. CCGNJ staff will be joined by four individuals in recovery from problem gambling.

Topics will include:
• What led the panelists to recognize they had a gambling problem – what was their crisis-point?
• What were their first steps in attempting to stop gambling?
• What challenges to recovery are presented by the current environment that offers an increasing number of gambling options and where gambling advertising is so prevalent?
• How important to your recovery is bringing to other problem gamblers the message that recovery is within reach?
