Dr Anne Cooke
Chief Executive @British Neuroscience Association (BNA)
After Anne graduated in neurophysiology from the University of Cambridge she completed a doctorate studying the way nerve cells communicate, and then became a postdoctoral research scientist at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular of Biology. In 2003 she left the research lab to become Neuroscience Research Facilitator for ‘Bristol Neuroscience’, bringing together all aspects of neuroscience research and clinical practice in the University of Bristol and associated NHS Trusts. She went on to work with other membership organisations both in academia and the medical devices sector, before moving to her current position at the BNA.
Lydia Bown
Outreach Ambassador @The British Neuroscience Association (BNA)
Lydia is a third year MSci Biology student at the University of Southampton, and particularly enjoys genetics and molecular biology. She is working at the BNA and has been involved in their education projects. She has also developed the BNA's resources for and engagement with its associate members, particularly through the production of a new associate e-bulletin.
