This interactive event will enable UK-based needs assessors and disability advisers to discover the latest innovations in assistive technology, listen to our speakers' experiences of learning as neurodivergent individuals and get practical advice on how they can best support neurodivergent students in 2021 and beyond - even if they're working remotely.

As the CEO of the British Dyslexia Association, the national charity for everyone with dyslexia and dyscalculia, Nick is passionate about changing perceptions of dyslexia, so that the benefits of thinking differently are recognised and valued across education and society. Sam Marsden (Author ) Sam Marsden previously worked as a freelance drama teacher for many years and is the author of 'Under Glass, ‘100 Acting Exercises for 8-18 Year Olds', and 'Teach Drama’. In her session, 'A conversation with Sam Marsden: writing, dyslexia and novels', she will be sharing her experiences of becoming an author and the doubts she has overcome as a writer with dyslexia. Rosie Jones (Comedian ) Rosie Jones will be delivering an exclusive stand-up comedy routine for the attendees of our CPD Day. Rosie is an ex-television researcher who won second place in the Leicester Mercury’s ‘New Comedian Of The Year Award 2018’ and has gone on to deliver her hilarious punchlines on various TV shows, including Live At The Apollo, The Last Leg and 8 Out of 10 Cats.
