Identifying Best Practices for Prevention, Intervention, and Support
Although there are existing professional development courses available to specific sectors, there is a need for online learning opportunities for a range of service providers who work with individuals with FASD and with women who are at risk of having a child with FASD. Identifying Best Practices for Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) is designed for use by professionals working in the substance use, mental health, housing, employment, justice, and other service delivery fields. The aim of Identifying Best Practices is to provide a course for a range of service providers that is multidisciplinary, works across the spectrum of FASD, and supports individuals across the lifespan. This webinar will provide an overview of the four modules and will highlight some of the key tools and resources included in the modules to support individuals who have or are at risk of having a child with FASD and/or may have FASD themselves.
