It would be an understatement to say that 2020 has been a difficult year. In the midst of it, though, volunteer engagement professionals have rallied. There has been a surge of professional development opportunities from colleagues who are willing to share and to listen. As we close out 2020 and hope for a better year ahead, how can we take all that we have learned since March when normal came to a halt and apply it to our work moving forward? We will discuss how to set boundaries and say no when needed, to create work plans and strategic plans that can help you tackle your to do list and communicate your value to senior leaders, and expand your capacity by building teams to support mutually beneficial goals.
