Boomers, Retirees and the Mature Adult Learner
A lot of research has been conducted over the last few years to help illustrate the reality that adult learners are far from a homogeneous group. While a significant portion of the research has focused on younger generations, specifically Gen Z and Millennials, less has been conducted on professionals 50 and older.

To better understand this segment of learners, MindEdge and UPCEA commissioned a survey of the group and published the outcomes in a recently-released report, “One Size Doesn’t Fit All — Differences Among Boomer Learners, Retirees, and the Mature Adult Learner”.

Join Jim Fong and Bruce Etter from the UPCEA Center for Research and Strategy as they highlight the key takeaways from the survey and discuss the impacts on continuing education units and their efforts to reach this audience with learning opportunities. We’ll also feature some instant reactions from selected UPCEA institutions as to how these insights impact their present and future strategies for serving this learner cohort.
