Finding the Calm: Session 2
We have all been through a traumatic experience over a long period of time. Our minds and bodies have difficulty keeping up with the chaos, uncertainty, and injustice and it takes its toll.  There is a difference between escaping from it all and searching for a calm place where we can rejuvenate. Escaping is transient and we shut off our senses, whereas the calm place is accepting what has happened, but also creating a consistent practice of entering less stimulated states of mind. In this workshop, we will discuss practices of finding your own personal calm both in body and mind.
