Consultation on the Use of Phylogenetic Diversity as a Biodiversity Indicator in Policy Framework

The virtual consultation will address the following themes:
- Use of phylogenetic diversity-based metrics in conservation
- Understand spatial and clade specific uses
- Identify use cases and engagement with user communities

The consultation is currently scheduled to take place in the third quarter of 2022. More details will be shared when plans are more advanced. alliance supported activity in partnerships with GBIF, UNITE, the IUCN SSC Phylogenetic Diversity Task Force (PDTF), Open Tree of Life, and the University of New South Wales.
