Michigan residents can help inform the work of the Council on Climate Solutions (CCS), which is developing a roadmap for Michigan to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, by providing input at this listening session. The session will begin with an overview of Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s Executive Order 2020-182 that established the council and an explanation of how the council is structured. The rest of the session will be devoted to receiving comment from attendees. The sessions will be recorded and posted in a timely manner to Michigan.gov/Climate.
Those who cannot attend the public listening sessions can still offer their topical comments by sending an email to EGLE-ClimateSolutions@Michigan.gov.
Pre-registration is not required to attend the meeting. Individuals interested in participating can click on the registration link (https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_DH3lYbKTTHW9fxjbY3vn0g) at the start of the event (6:00 p.m.).
