South Florida's Great Building Boom of the 1920s

South Florida was at the center of the great real estate boom of the 1920s. As we reflect back on this memorable time period, this webinar will showcase rare images and share the stories emanating from a trend that has repeated on many occasions throughout South Florida's history.

This webinar will discuss the causes and impact of this great boom more a century later. The attendee will learn about the changes in downtown Miami and surrounding areas from the start of the boom until the bust in 1926. In addition, one will hear about the men and women who were developers during this period. Also, the attendee will understand the catalysts that led to the gradual end to this great boom.
