Forum for Raytown Aldermen Candidates

Your vote MATTERS! Learn about candidates for the Raytown Board of Aldermen on your April 4 ballot. The Board of Aldermen propose ordinances and resolutions, as well as approve the City's budget. Only the board of aldermen can make decisions for the city. The mayor, as presiding officer of the board, can propose, suggest and encourage adoption of a proposal, but the mayor only votes to break a tie vote. There are ten aldermen, two from each of five wards. Serve a 4 year term.
