Machine perfusion and kidney transplantation: More than preservation

Kidney graft preservation has been the main goal of machine perfusion since the introduction of this technique. In the last few years, we learned that this approach might help us in the evaluation of the organ quality, but only recently we are realizing the kidney perfusion might represent a chance to modulate the inflammatory response within the graft before transplantation. The aim of this webinar is to provide an update on the different approaches that we might employ in this setting to reduce the incidence of post-transplant immune-mediated graft damage.
