We Are Survivors

Join us on November 30th from 4-6 pm ET/1-3 pm PT for this second event in a series inspired by No More Police: A Case for Abolition, co-authored by our co-founders Mariame Kaba and Andrea J. Ritchie!

We'll be joined by authors from the two-volume collection, Abolition Feminisms, recently released by Haymarket Press, including Alisa Bierria and Hyejin Shim (Survived and Punished), Alisha Walker (Support Ho(s)e), and Romina Garcia, for a discussion of how policing and prisons contribute to continuing violence and criminalization of survivors, and how survivors are leading abolitionist movements to demand safer, thriving communities, moderated by Andrea J. Ritchie.
