The average Israeli's employer deposits 2000 shekels a month into his or her pension plan, thanks to a law that was passed in 2008.
That means that over the course of a 40 year career, 1 million shekels will be deposited into it, making it the most popular investment tool in Israel.
Unfortunately, the knowledge level of the average Israeli is inversely proportional to its importance and for the English speaker the situation is even worse.
