The International Association of Vegan Sociologists
Peer-Reviewing in Sociology
Join us for an hour-long panel on professional and productive peer-reviewing! Peer-review is an important part of academic life, but few of us receive training on how to do this effectively (and compassionately). This webinar is designed to demystify this process.

As part of the International Association of Vegan Sociology’s launch for the Student Journal of Vegan Sociology, the faculty advisory board has designed a webinar on professional peer-review geared for students who are new to the process. The journal’s editorial board is student-led and this event was initially planned to offer as a training session. However, we quickly realized that this webinar would be of significant professional utility to the larger sociological community.

This event is in collaboration with the following professional associations:

American Sociological Association (ASA)
Animals & Society Section of the ASA
British Sociological Association (BSA)
Human-Animal Studies Group of the BSA
Canadian Sociological Association (CSA)
Animals in Society Research Cluster of the CSA
The Australian Sociological Association (TASA)
