What is civil society's strategy for U.S. climate victory in 2021?
Next year we'll likely have a chance to pass landmark federal climate legislation. To seize that moment, we need a very clear set of policy demands for Congress and broad civil society unity for action.
To help prepare, please join us Wednesday, July 1st, from noon-1:30 pm for URGENT: Federal Climate Bills and Strategy.
The event will feature scientists on the top 100 GHG solutions, lawyers drafting policy to match, and organizers securing the votes who will detail a roster of current bills from plastics to carbon to farming.
Speakers: Chad Frischmann (Project Drawdown), Michael Gerrard (Columbia University's Sabin Center for Climate Change Law), Alex Hillbrand (Natural Resources Defense Council), Delia Ridge Creamer (Center for Biological Diversity), Jake Davis (Family Farm Action), Etelle Higonnet (Mighty Earth), Karenna Gore (Center for Earth Ethics), Adam Zipkin (Office of U.S. Senator Cory Booker), Rachel Goodgal (Climate Crisis Policy) and Todd Fernandez (Climate Crisis Policy, host).
