Choosing CBD
Cannabidiol (CBD) has become one of the most-popular cannabinoids due to its wide availability, anti-inflammatory effects, and non-psychoactive properties. Failing to understand the variations, ratios, and dosing may lead to unsuccessful results and not receiving CBD's full benefits. Join Dr. Matthew Elmes, Director of Product Development at CannaCraft, one of the largest cannabis product manufacturers in the world for a discussion on this emerging cannabinoid. Dr. Elmes will discuss biochemical pathways in our bodies, the entourage effect, the difference between isolate, broad and full-spectrum products, proper dosing, ratio products, and how to get the best outcome.

Dr Matthey Elmes
Director of Product Development @CannaCraft
Dr. Elmes holds a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Stony Brook University, where he focused on endocannabinoid and phytocannabinoid cellular transport mechanisms for his dissertation work. By the end of his graduate education he had authored over a dozen peer-reviewed scientific journal articles about cannabinoids and was named a co-inventor on a granted patent application. In 2018 Dr. Elmes began his postdoctoral work with Artelo Biosciences developing a novel class of endocannabinoid transport inhibitors. The compounds that he and his team developed are able to modulate endocannabinoid system signaling and hold great promise as non-addictive, anti-inflammatory and pain-killing drugs. He has recently transitioned to an industry position with CannaCraft, where he focuses on cannabinoid formulations and product development for the CannaCraft brands Satori, Care By Design, and Absolute Xtracts.
