St. Francis was a gentle, loving soul. He represented and protected nature, animals and impoverished and oppressed humans. His followers gather, year after year, on his feast day to honor and celebrate the man they call inspiration.
As millions of pilgrims march up the same pathway that St. Francis climbed, we will gather virtually on October 4, 2021, at 8 PM ET.
Many feet have walked up to the Hermitage, a sacred place for refuge and solace, high up on the hills in Assisi, Italy, to create and lay crosses. As we gather, virtually, to learn about the life of St. Francis, experience his sacred message, and make crosses, we too will pay homage to the man, his mission, and his holy message.
A cross is a symbol of strength and courage. A cross is an internal willingness to stretch your arms into the unknown. A cross is a sacred totem that illuminates possibilities within those who believe. From twigs, twine, flowers, and more that you gather from your sacred sanctuary, you will create your cross.
Will you join us? Ticket price $25.00. Making Crosses: A Homage to St. Francis recording will be sent to you if you cannot attend the live broadcast event via your registered email address. Together we will remember the sacred works of St. Francis.
