In 2015, 193 world leaders agreed to an ambitious set of 17 SDGs to be met by 2030. These goals offer a blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all, addressing issues such as poverty, hunger, gender equality, and climate change.
A story can effect change, influence opinion, and create awareness—and maps are an integral part of storytelling. ArcGIS StoryMaps enable both individuals and organizations to integrate maps, data, and other multimedia content with text to tell a narrative about the world's greatest challenges and highlight or inspire solutions.
During the free Storytelling for the SDGs webinar, participants will:
• Discuss global challenges with United Nations SDG Advocate Hindou Ibrahim
• Learn to tell data-driven stories with maps
• Get details about the 2020 ArcGIS StoryMap Competition for the Sustainable Development Goals
