The Atlanta Jews of Color Council (AJOCC) presents MLK, Jr. Day - Jewish Social Justice Summit 2022
Atlanta Jews of Color Council in partnership with the ADL -Anti-Defamation League, and JEDI powered by the Jewish Federations of North America is thrilled to invite you to celebrate the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday at the Jewish Social Justice Summit, Sunday, January 16, 2022 6-7:00 pm EST. Join us as we learn from a national panel of Jewish change agents and way finders who are making amazing contributions toward tikkun olam: Jesse Rabinowitz, SooJi Min-Maranda, Mariely Luengo, Stacey Aviva Flint, and Keynote speaker MaNishtana. They’ll lead us in meaningful, respectful, thought provoking conversations regarding social justice through a Jewish lens.

This engaging session focuses on building capacity for productive dialogue across lines of difference. We respect these differences, because they make us stronger.

We must move from statements of solidarity to action through advocacy, philanthropy, and community building. Today's leaders need new tools to understand and navigate critical community challenges such as how can our Jewish community respect and honor the human dignity of all of our community members?

We must align our Jewish values to our policies, practice and protocols. We’ll explore best practices for teaching Jews to think critically and dynamically. Cultivating a culture of inclusion is a deliberate process which requires intentional effort. It must also have clear goals and be strategic in committing to closing the access gap to Judaism.
This is a night you don't want to miss!
