She is also the WRaP 2.0 FASD Instructional Coach providing FASD professional development and instructional coaching to education administration from Feb 1, 2021 to Jan 31, 2026. Angela has a Masters in Business, a Human and Social Development Degree, a Child and Youth Care Diploma and a Social Service Worker Certificate. Trained in Motivational Interviewing, Edu-Grief Therapy and annual Cultural Sensitivity she is a presenter at conferences and provides FASD education and training to professionals, support workers, families and communities. A big believer in collaboration she has facilitated active partnerships with many organizations from all levels in the network region, Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and across Alberta. Angela lives in St Albert with her husband, two daughters, two dogs, two cats, two birds and two fish. Michael Stansberry (Senior Manager @Alberta Public Safety and Emergency Services) Michael Stansberry is the Senior Manager, Correctional Programs and Services in the Correctional Services Division of Alberta Public Safety and Emergency Services and previously worked in Homeless Supports and worked to address systemic challenges facing individuals with multiple and complex needs. Mr. Stansberry represents the department on the Provincial FASD Cross-Ministry Committee and the Federal/Provincial/Territorial Steering Committee on FASD and Access to Justice. Mr. Stansberry also leads the development of correctional programming that is FASD-informed, trauma-informed, and works to connect high risk young offenders with effective services which reduces crime through rehabilitation. Dr. Mansfield Mela (Professor and Research Lead @University of Saskatchewan and CanFASD) Dr. Mansfield Mela is an academic forensic psychiatrist, a founder of the forensic subspecialty in Canada, and an award-winning teaching scholar at the University of Saskatchewan. His clinical practice involves assessment and treatment of offenders with mental disorders and rehabilitation of individuals living with the consequences of prenatal alcohol exposure. Dr. Mela currently directs research at the Centre for Forensic Behavioural Science and Justice Studies at the University of Saskatchewan and is a research lead on diagnosis at the Canada Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) Research Network. He initiated the first interdisciplinary forensic research and clinical teams in Saskatchewan and recently led an international expert panel to develop a treatment algorithm for FASD.
