Advancing Healthy Food Equity/Avance de la equidad en el acceso a alimentos saludables

Blue Cross NC Foundation is issuing a Funding Opportunity for a three-year, $100,000/year ($300,000 total per organization) grant opportunity to support up to ten (10) organizations that are led by, serving, and accountable to American Indian, Black, Latino, other People of Color, and members of immigrant communities to expand their ability to engage in advocacy for transformational changes that advance equitable access to healthy food.

To provide prospective applicants with more information, we are hosting a webinar on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at 10am. During the webinar, staff from the Blue Cross NC Foundation will provide background information about our approach to this funding opportunity, outline the work we’re interested in supporting, detailed information on the application and review process, and allow time for questions.

Blue Cross NC Foundation está anunciando una oportunidad de subvención de $300,000 ($100,000 por año, por organización) durante tres años para apoyar hasta 10 organizaciones dirigidas por, que sirven y rinden cuentas a comunidades indígenas estadounidenses, negras, latinas, otras personas de color y miembros de comunidades inmigrantes para ampliar su capacidad de participar en la defensa de cambios transformadores que promuevan el acceso equitativo a alimentos saludables.

Para proveer más información a los posibles solicitantes, estamos organizando un seminario virtual el martes 31 de enero a las 10 a.m. Durante el seminario virtual, el personal de Blue Cross NC Foundation proporcionará información general sobre el enfoque para esta oportunidad de subvención, describirá el trabajo que estamos interesados en respaldar, compartirá información detallada sobre el proceso de solicitud y revisión; así como también tendremos un tiempo destinado para responder preguntas.
