Councillor Ravi Govindia has led the most significant regeneration of London Borough of Wandsworth possibly since the industrial revolution. As co-chair of the Nine Elms Vauxhall Partnership, Councillor Govindia played a key role in securing the funding and delivery of the new Tube line as part of a 20-year programme to transform the Battersea and Nine Elms area.
Across the borough, there is a programme of 1,000 new homes on council land for people who live or work in the borough, including the Winstanley and York Road estates, and the regeneration of the Alton estate.
Join us at 11am on 11 January to hear Councillor Govindia’s ongoing ambitions for Wandsworth, and the story of his decade as Leader and 40 years of service to the borough.
