A Mixed Reality Portrait: Rosie Summers paints Alison Jolly
Watch artist Rosie Summers bring art to life in the virtual plane live, as she creates a portrait of the inspirational primatologist Alison Jolly, who features in our major exhibition, Unfinished Business: The Fight for Women’s Rights. Using Tilt Brush and mixed reality technology, Rosie will paint a portrait in real time of Jolly, a pioneer of lemur biology who championed environmental education with her Malagasy colleague Hanta Rasamimanana. Rosie has undertaken VR art performances with many notable organisations such as the BBC and National Football Museum and is excited to do one for the first time virtually as part of the Unfinished Business programme.

This is part of a series of events for Unfinished Business developed in partnership between the British Library and Leeds Libraries.

Thanks to Margaretta Jolly and Hanta Rasamimanana for their support in the development of this event.
