Navigating partnerships, faculty staff, students, administrators and community leaders can be difficult at times. This workshop is designed to alleviate some of the stress involved as it will provide attendees an opportunity to take an in-depth look at the Benedict College Service-Learning Program from the perspectives of the Program Manager, Ms. Katrina Pitts and Faculty Member, Dr. Tami Ashford-Carroll. This tag-team will discuss the art of service-learning and how they have successfully navigated in this field for years. This informative session will discuss the pivot experienced as a result of COVID-19 and the continued project development for the upcoming semester that meets both student learning outcomes and community needs. Workshop attendees will have opportunities to ask questions and share tips they have found useful as well.
